Esther DeLadurantey......In Concert

My friend Esther gave a violin concert on October 29. She had been working very hard on some piece to preform and let me tell you, her hard work paid off beautifully!
Esther's dad giving a little speech before the program started.
Esther also had an painist accompany her on some of her pieces.

Hannah, Esther's older sister, accompanied her on the harp
on a few piece's.

The last piece on the program was Great is the Faithfulness,

Mr. DeLadurantey (on Clarinet), Jon (on violin), Hannah and Esther
all played on that one. They did such a lovely, beautiful job!

Allison was able to do a photo shoot with Esther for her
concert and the pictures turned out so nice!

Esther you did a phenomenal job on all of your pieces! Keep up the hard work and keep praising the Lord with the your stringed instrument! :D

More Music!!

Sunday, after church, everyone drove to Marlette
to hear a Messiah performance. Handel's "Messiah"
is an AMAZING piece of music!

Some hams....well broiled... :D

Sweet Smiles :)

A week of 'lasts'

Evvie and Laura, her harp teacher

Playing on a big harp!!

As we draw this chapter of our Michigan life
to a close, there are a lot of 'lasts'...

Last violin lesson with Mr. Holliday
Last harp lesson with Laura
Last piano lesson with Mrs. Wilson
Last session at Banbury

....though these are bittersweet times,
we do look forward to lots of 'firsts'
in our new state :)

Maxwells and Vineckis

After Catrina's party last night, we drove to Flint!
The Maxwell family was holding a conference,
and the Vineckis had called eariler and said they
would be there. We didn't decide to go until
lunchtime yesterday, so when we arrived
the Vineckis were surprised :)
We were happy to see the Jasters, too!

The Maxwells played a few songs after the conference.

Some o' them kidz... :)

Evvie took the picture, as I was holding Bella inside :)

Miller's Big Red

Our Trillium Chamber Orchestra
performed two concerts on Saturday
at two cider mills. God blessed us
with a gorgeous fall day, and good crowds :)

Our 'show' consisted of several western-themed pieces.

Fellowship at the Strunks

After a busy day of performing at cider mills,
many of us gathered at the Strunks for a meal
and fellowship. Around the bonfire later,
we shared testimonies, a prayer time, and singing.
Thank you Strunks, for a lovely evening!

A missionary couple from the Philipines was
visiting the Strunks as well, so we were able
to play some music for them :)

Larry Strunk and Levi Bendixen
made a nice accompianment
to the strings.
