At the end of April, my sister Allison and her friend Laura Adams, did a mini C.A.P.T.U.R.E. We focused on refining our lessons on portraiture, which we had learned from the previous year in the C.A.P.T.U.R.E. workshop. My friend Hannah and her mother and myself attend the class together and I must say, we had a blast! Here are a few of my favorites that I photographed! :D
We also worked on lighting. This is a photo,
with defused lighting. Meaning, not in any kind of direct sunlight.
This is Back Lighting, where the light is all
in the back of your subject.
This is somewhat defused, but you can tell that the light is
bouncing off the ground onto the subjects
Capturing more than one person in a photograph
is a lot of fun, but it can be hard to. You don't want all your
models to be in the exact same pose, so make sure they are
standing, sitting, ect, in different positions
Oh, and a good note to keep in mind, make sure
you make your subjects laugh. They make
the best photo's!
I had this photo planned out in my head and it
turned out exactly the way I wanted it to! Which, in
photography can be rather difficult sometimes!
One of my personal favorites:
Field of Depth
Our wonderful instructors with their Canon's!
Hope you enjoyed!
