Bella May - One Year Old

Time certainly flies. I can still remember as clear as day, watching my niece enter the world. I was in such awe with the tears flowing as the doctor handed her to Annick. She was here. All those days of feeling her kick in her mama's womb and now she was really here! I'll never forget that special time I had holding her only two hours after she was born. You could say my Aunties heart was certainly captured all over again. Now look where we are. A whole year later. (make that 17 months by now... :-/)

Bella is our little excited nugget. No matter if you are right next to her or upstairs she has no problem calling out for attention. Teaching her to use her inside voice is going to take awhile. Yet at the same time it's neat to watch her pure joy over small things. I think there is a lesson in there... ;) Her favorite thing tell you about are her  "choe!" (shoes). And don't get her started on balloons. :D She certainly keeps us on our toes with her walking running here and there to visit her aunties in different rooms. Or she's over by the books. I having a feeling she just might be a book worm someday.

I'm learning to not see my niece as interruptions when I'm the middle of something. They bring so much joy to our family with there enthusiasm for life. They always have a smile for me and a "TRINA!" or "NINA! (as Bella calls me). I have come to realize that every moment with them is precious. It's an opportunity to knit heart strings together and share the gospel. Because my girlies are going to go through some tough things and I want them to know that Auntie Trina will always be there for them. No matter what.

Bella's birthday was celebrated with a woodland theme and many friends came to join in on the celebration.

Arms were never fuller

No birthday is complete without a romp around the kitchen on horses

First birthday and she goes straight for the fire...

Happy first year Koala Bear! Your Auntie certainly enjoys watching you and your sister grow up. Promise you wont grow up too fast?

Stay tuned for December
