"Oh, Lord, may these years of growing up with them draw our hearts close together. May I point them always to you and encourage them to know your Word. May our togetherness lead to many years of dear close friendship."
Sophia is all girl. Her favorite colors are pink and purple. Fancy is how she wishes she could dress every day with sparkly shoes. Her favorite stuffed animals are her horse "lovey's" and anything Minnie mouse. Vanilla cupcakes are her favorite dessert to eat and make. If there is something you are doing, Sophia wants to join in to. Cooking and baking are one of her activities she loves to help you with. She enjoys washing dishes. She has a hospitable spirit and enjoys meeting new people. If there's a party she has to be there too! :D She loves her family and has such a big sisters heart for Bella.
For Sophia's 4th birthday, we went to a park that had this huge pillow like jumping thingy. As you can see I'm not sure how to describe it, but Sophia thoroughly enjoys this pillow to bounce on! I mean who wouldn't? ;) :D We enjoyed having a few of her Daddy's side of the family come and some of her close friends join us in celebrating another year of her life. Cupcakes of course were for dessert. And as tradition, which was started on her 2nd birthday by her Daddy, a pinata!
Keep on the look out for more pictures over at Allie's blog, as I was enjoying the day with my Blondy Bear and didn't capture all of the special moments. :D Sometimes the best memories are the ones we see with our eye's and lock away to remember for a lifetime.
Butterfly's and frilly skirts. That's how my Blondy Bear rolls

These two. 61 and still young at heart. *grin*
(I hope I'm still this adventurous when I'm there age)
Somewhat of an uneasy start, and few "Oh, Honey, not so high!"
(from mama), but all ended in grins.
These last three show so much of a 4 y.o. joy when her Poppy and Mimi join her. All that excitement and delight captured on her face.
